Northwest Airlines makes it easy to plan and purchase your travel online with nwa.com Reservations. You can search flights, cars and hotels to find the lowest fares that fit your travel needs. You can also search and book using your WorldPerks Miles.

To make a reservation on nwa.com, go to Flight Search on the Flights tab on the nwa.com home page.
- Residents of Canada: Select Reservations Center from the top menu on the nwa.com home page, then choose Shop for Flights. On the 'Where and when do you want to travel?' section, click the link provided for Residents of Canada.
- Residents outside of the United States or Canada: Select Worldwide Sites from the top of the nwa.com home page.
Homepage
- Select your trip type: Roundtrip, One-way or Multi-city.
- Choose your search preference: Price or Lowest Price and Schedule.
- Check the box if this search is for a WorldPerks Mileage Upgrade.
- Enter the cities: Departure city in the From input field, and the destination city in the To input field.
- Note: You may enter the full city name or the three-letter airport code.
- Select travel dates and time: Month, day, and time of travel in the Depart and Return Date drop-down selections.
- Select number of travelers: Number of Adults drop-down selection.
- If there are children accompanying you on this trip or you would like to specify additional search options (such as nonstop flights only or a cabin class other than Coach), click 'More Search Options.'
- If you have an NWA E-Cert ECV or Gift Certificate you wish to redeem, click 'NWA Discount Travel E-Cert Redemption.'
- If you wish to view flight options for weekend trips in a selected month, click 'Search for Weekend Trips.'
- Click 'Search' to begin searching for your flights.
*For WorldPerks Award Flights, select the Award Travel tab. Enter your preferences, then click 'Search' to begin searching for your award flights. Note: WorldPerks members may receive better search options and results when they register and login.
- Review the results of the Flight Selections displayed.
- Click the 'Select' button next to the flight(s) you would like to reserve.
- If you are performing a Search by Schedule or Multi-city search, you will use the 'Select' button to choose each flight in your itinerary.
Flight Selection
If you are not already logged in to nwa.com Reservations, you will be asked to Login using your WorldPerks Account Number, Last Name and PIN.
- If you have not previously registered with nwa.com Reservations, you will be prompted to do so. Registration is quick, easy and free.Once your registration is complete, you can immediately continue with your reservation on nwa.com.

Login
- Review the details of the flights you have selected; including fare, number of passengers, dates and times, and fare rules and restrictions.
- Within the Review the Rules and Restrictions section, check the appropriate box to indicate your agreement to all fare rules of your itinerary.
- Under the Traveler(s) section, select the passenger name from the drop-down list OR enter the first name, middle initial and last name in the appropriate input fields.
- Click 'Review Preferences and Complete Purchase' to continue with your reservation.
Review
- Review all traveler Preferences and Special Requests for accuracy.
- Choose your seats now or wait until your purchase is complete.
- Click 'Continue' to move on to Billing Information.
- Select a previously saved credit card from the Billing Information section or enter a new credit card with billing address.
- Click 'Continue' to review a purchase summary.
Review Preferences
- Review the Total Trip Cost and Traveler(s) information for accuracy prior to purchase.
- Click 'Purchase' to complete your reservation and initiate the credit card transaction (if applicable).
Purchase Summary
- At the completion of your purchase, a Purchase Confirmation page containing the flight details and confirmation number will be available for viewing. It is recommended that you print this page for your records.
- If you have not yet chosen your seat(s), you will have to option to make this selection.
- A Purchase Confirmation E-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided during the reservation process.
- A Trip Summary and Receipt (TSR) E-mail containing the ticket details and a recap of your itinerary will be sent within 48 hours of your purchase confirmation.
